I'd give it four stars for effort. A lot of work has been put into this film. I just find it trying too hard to fit in and be cool. It's been obviously inspired by a lot of Quentin Tarantino films (i.e. Pulp Fiction, Jackie Brown, Kill Bill and Kill Bill ver. 2.0). I don't particularly love Tarantino's personality but but his films have something going on in them. It's the same with Pinoy Blonde. Peppered with pseudo-intellectual/smart-ass banter and highly stimulating visuals. I'm just surprised with the direction Peque Gallaga took on this one. Maybe I just got used to his approach in his older films—rich visuals, great cinematography—which is still present in Pinoy Blonde. I just felt uneasy about the "pop" influences.

I'm not saying I can do better, I don't think I'm not really cut out for filmmaking. But they could've pushed the medium further than they already have. Overall, it's a good movie.
