Of course not! mid-year vacation lang naman ito. :) actually yung Patong beach sa Phuket as a friend described it is parang Cavite beach lang daw. Mukha ngang ganun. I haven't been to Boracay pero feeling ko parang ganun sa Patong yung atmosphere. Mas maganda pa sa Panglao sa Bohol or sa mga island sa Coron, Palawan. :) Mas maganda sa Phi Phi island, malapit sa Krabi, Thailand. :D
If yung nightlife ang habol mo and just lazing along the beach, Phuket is ok. It's monsoon season na kasi kaya medyo malakas na yung mga alon. I'd think it'd probably be calmer during summer. Pero if you want a nice, clean, quiet beach with clear blue - aqua water, you're better off going to Phi Phi Island. :) I'd recommend you visit Coron or El Nido in Palawan if only you'd be willing to spend more. It's actually cheaper to go to other countries like Thailand, Malaysia or Indonesia for a holiday. Weird no?
